- The quickest way to improve your grade point average is to retake the courses in which you did
poorly.
- Do not overload your schedule — take 12 to 15 credits.
- Talk to your instructors or academic advisor — especially if you are struggling in a
course.
- Ask your instructors and departments about tutors, study groups, and other resources.
- Enroll in EDUC 123: Study Skills (1 credit).
- Take 100 or 200 numbered courses if you are a freshman or sophomore.
- If you are doing poorly in a course and you have exhausted all other options, drop the course
before the drop deadline.
- Reduce the number of hours of employment.
- Plan to study approximately 3 hours for every credit registered.
