Pell Grant

 
What is it?
 
Grant assistance for undergraduate students who have not earned a bachelor’s or professional degree and demonstrate exceptional need.
 
Will I have to pay it back?
 
No. This award does not have to be repaid.
 
What do I do after I accept my award?
 
Because your disbursed Pell amount is based on your enrollment status at a specified time and date as published in the Registration Schedule, plan your registration accordingly.

Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant (SEOG)
 
What is it?
 
Grant assistance for undergraduate students who are enrolled at least half time and demonstrate exceptional financial need. Priority is given to Pell Grant recipients.
 
Will I have to pay it back?
 
No. This award does not have to be repaid.
 
What do I do after I accept my award?
 
To receive this grant, you must be enrolled at least half-time.

Academic Competitiveness Grant (ACG)

What is it?

Federal grant assistance available for undergraduate students who are U.S. citizens, Pell Grant-eligible, enrolled full time, have completed a rigorous high school program, completed less than 48 credits and demonstrate exceptional need upon completion of the FAFSA.  Students who receive the second year ACG award must have a 3.00 or greater when they complete their 24th credit.

Will I have to pay it back?

No. This award does not have to be repaid.

What do I do after I accept my award?

Because your ACG grant is based on full-time enrollment at a specified time and date as published in the Registration Schedule, plan your registration accordingly.

National SMART Grant

What is it?

Federal grant assistance available for undergraduate students who are U.S. citizens, Pell Grant-eligible, enrolled full time, enrolled in an eligible major (physical, life or computer sciences; mathematics; technology; engineering; or in a foreign language determined critical to national security), have completed 48-95 credits and demonstrate exceptional need upon completion of the FAFSA.  Students must also have a 3.00 or greater cumulative GPA.

Will I have to pay it back?

No. This award does not have to be repaid.

What do I do after I accept my award?

Because your SMART grant is based on full-time enrollment at a specified time and date as published in the Registration Schedule, plan your registration accordingly.
